iPV4 vs Sigelei 150W

Box mods have become more and more popular in the vaping community. So, which are the best box mods? It’s hard to say because each person desires different features when vaping. We are going to look at two popular variable box mods, the iPV4 by Pioneer4You and the Sigelei 150W.

Let’s take a look at the iPV4 by Pioneer4You. The iPV4 is one of the most innovative box mods on today’s market. It comes equipped with the new YiHi SX330-V4S chip which allows you the option to use Temperature Control. The magnetic back allows you to easily change the (2) 18650 batteries. Enjoy vaping at a max of 100 watts with the iPV4 box mod and as low as 0.10 ohms. The iPV4 also has a OLED display screen, allowing you to easily adjust the wattage, voltage and see the battery life.

Time to take a look at the Pro’s and Con’s of the ipv4 :

YiHi Chip Temperature Control.
Grip Control.
Adjustable button are easy to use.
Charging Port.
Colors: Black or Silver.

Maximum 100W.
Battery back is plastic feeling.
Dim screen (hard to see sunlight).
Inconsistent locking mechanism.

Now it’s time to look at the Sigelei 150W box mod.

The Sigelei 150W packs a punch in the vaping community. The device holds (2) 18650 batteries and has four magnetics in the back for easily changing the batteries. The OLED screen is bright and clear, for changing the wattage, voltage and viewing the battery life. The locking/unlocking feature is definitely nice, so you do not autofire when carrying in your pocket or bag. Sigelei also decided to throw in a free silicone sleeve to protect the device. The Sigelei is a definite winner for durability and reliability.

Time to take a look at the Pro’s and Con’s:

SSX330 Chip
Able to vape up to 150W
Silicone Sleeve included
Battery Life
Simplicity of OLED screen

SSX330 Chip tends to be inaccurate at higher wattage
Sharp edge design.
No USB charging port.
No Temperature Control.
Buttons tend to stick.

So which is better, the iPV4 or the Sigelei 150W? It all depends on the user. The iPV4 has far more options even though it maxes out at 100 watts. The iPV4 fits nicely in the hand, it’s stylish and most of all it comes with Temperature Control. Ultimately, the choice is up to you. Either way, both box mods are fantastic and perform to your expectations. Which will you choose?
